I have LE in my lower exstremities and was wondering if anyone has had the problem that i have. I was on a boat and getting out to go swiming when i cut my foot on metal. I was taken to the cost gaurd where they bandaged my up and told my mom to take me to the hospital. I got two stitches. I also have a thing called noonans syndrome which causes keloids (raised skin where cuts have been made). Any who..... I have a keloid on my chest where i had 4 open heart surgeries. This scar is a bright red while the scar where my LE is dark red. I was wondering if this has to do with the lymph circulation or not. Please help me thank you

Hopefully you told those providing first aid for you that you have lymphedema. If you were not given antibiotics, you need to watch closely for an indication of an infection. For those with lymphedema, this is always a danger when there is a break in the skin.
The newer scar may seen darker than the older scars because over time the color of keloid tissue (raised scars) does fade.
Next time you go swimming in a lake or beach you might consider wearing sneakers or swim shoes. This is a good precaution for everyone -- just in case there is debris or sharp rocks on the bottom.
Good luck.
