cancer in lymph nodes

I have lymphedema in my left arm from node dissection after mastectomy 6 years ago. Now the cancer has metasticized to lymph nodes in different areas. My question is...Will lymphedema therapy help spread the cancer cells through my lymph system to other organs? Please help...

When cancer has not spread to other nodes or other parts of the body, MLD is usually considered to be safe: however, circumstances vary with each patient. Ask your physician and your lymphedema therapist for their recommendations for you.
