Hello everyone! I have finally been diagnosed with lower LE. I've always wondered why my legs were always soooooo big and painful (I'm 42). Now I have a "new" problem!!:D I live in a rural area and the only doctors that I have available for me to see are my family doctor and my podiatrist. It was actually my podiatrist who recognized that I had LE and not just "water retention"! I have a limited budget and am unable to travel to a "big city" for treatment. Does anyone have any suggestions that could help me in my treatment? Currently I wear 30-40mmHg compression stockings. They help to make my legs feel a little better but that's about it.

Thanks all for reading this and for any suggestions that you may have.

Have a wonderful day.

You are not alone in this problem and, much as I would like to be able to solve it for you, I can't.
However in the article When Treatment is Too Far (http://www.lymphnotes.com/article.php/id/344/), Tracy has some excellent suggestions that could be helpful.
