Hi to one and all. I will not bore you. I am 41 was treated for stage 3 cervical cancer around a year and half ago. I had radical hyst. with lymph node removal and it was in the lymph. Had radiation and chemo. Ok soon after the surgery I can remember having like a pulling sensation at the top of my right leg and it hurt to walk. Well months later when I went to my onc. I would complain of pain at the top of my right leg area below the groin and I said it is probably where the lymph nodes were removed and he said, no they were out further up. He said could be lymphedema. He asked any redness etc,. I have complained to him for a year that the bottoms of my legs would swell and I had trouble walking my bottom of my legs and feet would hurt and ache so bad etc. I then started getting a lot of water, pitting in the right anlke and shin area. Then in april I remember having the pulling sensation at the top of the right leg, and then a pocket of what looked like water at the top of the leg? Elevated the leg and it helped, but now my leg is always big, bette somewhat after the night but as the day goes by my calf and knee area become huge, and hard etc. and also in the upper leg. Raising my legs helps somewhat for the moment, but I am busy and I am always going. I am wondering if this sounds like lymphedema or something else. I am a little annoyed with my onc,.for not picking up on all of the signals. Best,Nancy
