Blood blisters -- Pressure sores

I have upper leg lymphedema and struggle with these knots or blood blisters that grow, are very sore, and then pop. Is anyone familiar with these and how can I avoid them? How do you treat them? How do you keep them from coming back? PLEASE HELP!!!

Hi,
Since "blood blisters" are not typically associated with LY I would encourage you to see your physician for an assessment of this problem. If, by chance, these wounds form over a boney prominence, such as the big bone in your thigh, they may be due to excessive pressure in that area.
