I'm 60 and have only recently been diagnosed with lymphedema in both feet but mainly in the right foot and lower leg, after years of taking water tablets. I am having terrible trouble getting shoes on as my instep swells quite badly and the foot aches. I can't wear boots so dread the winter. Any hints.

There is an online shoe that specializes in selling two shoes of the same style but different size. It is certainly worth checking it out. [URL="http://oneshoetwoshoe.net/]
Good luck,
Roger
P.S. Thanks LymphedemaGirl for catching my typo in the website address.

Bigbird, last winter was so cold here (Denmark) and I had big trouble staying warm, plus the cold got to my foot and gave me grief. I found some cheap replicas of UGG's, they were very warm and comfy. I went through a couple of pairs and got them in different sizes, but they were so cheap anyway and I was just happy to have something.
