Care of arm after breat surgery

Hi there, I was wondering if after axilliary clearance that i should insist on not having any needles or blood pressure reading taking from the arm. I am due in hospital soon and wonder if it resonable for me not to allow them to use my arm.

I am not a licensed healthcare professional; however I am familiar with the guidelilnes that you should never allow blood pressure reading, blood draw, or an injection in the "at risk" arm.
