Hi, thelma,
Sorry, no experience with leg LE But I have LE in both arms, back and chest, so I have sleeve/glove garments from Solaris-Tribute that snap onto a vest, also from them. I absolutely love them. They work, for one thing -- I can sleep any which way and wake up in great shape -- actually brings down swelling that might have developed during the day (this, though, is not quaranteed by them -- just something that works for me). But they're also comfortable, flexible, the fabric is soft and comfy, and the people at that company are absolutely wonderful to work with. When I had LE only in one arm the sleeve was pull-on, but now with both arms involved they have zippers from wrist to just below the axilla that make them a dream to get on and off. The sleeves come with an oversleeve that I can pull on for added compression when I've overdone it, but I rarely need them. Drawbacks? Compression garments are ugly. These are black and bulky and I look like a samurai warrior ready for battle. Or like Godzilla, depending on your point of view. My husband calls me a "quilted bear" when I'm bundled into it all. The other problem is it's hot in summer. BUT, all of it can be stuffed into a plastic bag and stored in the refrigerator during the day, and at nighttime it's refreshingly cool without being icy. The foam stuffing holds the cool for several hours, and even by morning I'm really not uncomfortable -- and I live in the Southwestern desert. (Added benefit: it actually cut down on my night sweats!) My fitter, who has been dealing with Solaris for a few years, says these garments last well for at least 2 years, and they're warranteed for a full year. I believe they are the only such garment approved for payment by Medicare. Best of all, they're entirely machine washable (delicate cycle) and dryable (though it takes two dryer cycles), so there's no dry-cleaning bills and no waiting a couple of days for the thing to dry out (or wearing it to bed wet!) No, I don't work for them, but if I did I'd be mighty proud! They make a great product, and they stand behind it. They're flexible about personal needs and prompt about making any necessary adjustments. Get a bit carried away on this subject -- sorry! But I've had such a battle with trying to find really wearable garments, and these have certainly made my life waaaaay easier! Cassie |

I just got my first pair of Tributes for my legs and so far I'm loving them! Wrapping each nite was such a hassle and it was mentally draining! To think that I would have to be wrapping every night forever was just overwhelming! I've only had them two weeks but I love them!
I did have to get my insurance to approve them first which wasn't the easiest battle but definately worth it!
