Compression pantyhose you like

Hi! I have a wedding to go to in a month and the physical therapist I am working with said that I could probably get away with wearing a good pair of compression pantyhose for a few hours instead of my usual thick beige compression garment. Have any of you tried these out? Any suggestions of brands, etc. THANKS!

I had a wedding to go to about a week ago and absolutely REFUSED to wear those ugly things with my dress all day long. I ended up wearing a pair that were the lowest compression and they actually look very close to regular pantyhose. I wore those the entire day and just really had to watch how much salt I ate during the day to keep the swelling as controlled as possible. Then as soon as I got done with the wedding stuff I put my regular stockings back on when I was able to change. Unfortunately I don't know the brand name of the stockings as I got them forever ago but I think the lower the compression, the more they tend to look like regular pantyhose. It's the stronger ones that look thick and ugly.

solving the problem

I had a wedding to go to last summer. Solved the problem by choosing to wear palazzo pants and a fancy beaded top. Worked like a charm and could still wear compression. I was up in the mountains so was concerned my lymphedema would be far worse there than it is where I live. had to fly to the wedding and then it was up in the mountains at 12,000 feet... so I was really worried. But took my pump with me on the plane, wore my farrow wraps most of the time and had a blast! Good luck!
