Walking & Weight loss for Lymphedema...

Do you think it will help and be really good for my lymphedema, I've been reading that some people's swelling REALLY gets better with doing these two. What's your out look on this.

Walking for me really seems to help my lymphedema I seem to have smaller episodes of pain or discomfort.

I do try to drink lots of water and watch my salt in take. I have tried to diet and have gotten very frustrated with it due to holding onto the fluid.

But walking and swimming pool excersice always make me feel better.

Hope this helps!

I don't have access to a pool (not one that I'd want to swim in anyways), but I'll agree that walking does help LE.

I have a professional quality treadmill that I use almost every day to help keep the tightness out of my legs. It helps to manage the LE-related leg pain as well.
