At the lymphedema Program of the Community Health Center our patients receive education and training from certified lymphatic therapists in all aspects of lymphedema treatment including:

• Proper skin precautions and nutrition,
• Manual lymphatic drainage,
• Compression bandaging or garments, and
• Specific exercises.

These services begin with a comprehensive evaluation and when appropriate, therapy may include: 

• Joint mobilization,
• Myofascial release,
• Yoga postures, and
• Manual lymph drainage.
